Maschine

Maschine is an English progressive rock group formed at the Brighton Institute of Modern Music in 2008. It signs to the German progressive rock label Inside Out. The band name is based on the surname of Luke Machin, who forms the group and gives it its core identity.

History and line-up

Luke Machin works and shares stages with Francis Dunnery, Robert Plant, Bernie Marsden and Jeff Beck. He and bassist Daniel Mashal are both former members of The Tangent. The group’s line-up includes Luke Machin on vocals and guitars, Georgia Lewis on vocals and keyboards, Elliott Fuller on guitars, Daniel Mashal on bass guitars and vocals, and James Stewart on drums. The group is identified as featuring Eoin Coughlan and Aza Hand.

Maschine’s debut album, Rubidium, is released in 2013.
