Marvin Humes

Marvin Humes is a singer, songwriter and actor from Greenwich, United Kingdom, born in 1985. He is a member of JLS, and has also been part of VS and LuvBug.

JLS

Humes is a member of JLS, the English boyband that wins the MOBO and BRIT awards. The group finishes as runners-up to Alexandra Burke in the fifth series of The X Factor in 2008. They go on to achieve two UK number one singles, Beat Again and Everybody In Love, as well as a debut self-titled album that also reaches number one in the UK. Their fourth and fifth singles, The Club Is Alive and Love You More, both return the group to the top of the UK singles chart in 2010 from the album Outta This World, which reaches number two on the UK album chart.

Earlier work

Before JLS, Humes is a member of VS, a group that releases three singles in the UK in 2004 on Innocent Records before being dropped because of poor sales. Within JLS, his assigned colour is green.
