March Of the Playwrite

March Of the Playwrite is a working-class band formed in 2009. It brings together two London musicians, Ellis Slater and Simon Lawrence, who had previously been the driving force behind Atom Gang and The Misnomer for more than eight years. After releasing three EPs and one full-length album, and touring with bands including Failsafe and Howards Alias, they leave that project to start a new sound.

The band later teams up with bassist and vocalist Koji Okamoto from Osaka, Japan. With this line-up, March Of the Playwrite records an eight-track mini-album and then a six-track follow-up called Mollatron.
