Marc Roberts is an Irish pop singer and songwriter who represents Ireland at the 1997 Eurovision Song Contest with the song “Mysterious Woman”, which finishes second. He is from Crossmolina in County Mayo and begins performing after singing Don McLean’s “American Pie” at a school concert, where the reaction from the audience encourages his interest in live performance.
