Mannequin Pussy is an American group active from 2013, with an origin in New York and a strong association with Philadelphia. The band plays garage rock, indie rock, noise rock, power pop, punk and punk rock, and its current line-up includes Marisa Dabice, Kaleen Reading, Colins Regisford and Maxine Steen.

Line-up and formation

The group begins as a duo formed by childhood friends Marisa “Missy” Dabice and Athanasios Paul. Over time, the line-up expands to include Kaleen Reading on drums and percussion, and Colins “Bear” Regisford on bass, samples and vocals. The band works together in this configuration for three albums before Paul leaves in 2021. Maxine Steen joins in 2023 to complete the current quartet.

Roles

Marisa Dabice handles guitar, vocals and keyboards. Colins Regisford contributes bass, samples and vocals, while Kaleen Reading plays drums and percussion. Maxine Steen plays guitar.
