Making Marks is a Norwegian pop band from Oslo, active since 2012. The group includes Ola Innset and Marie Sneve Martinussen.

Background

The band begins as mylittlepony before changing its name after expanding to four members. It takes its new name from the album Making Marks. The group has four full-time members, compared with the five who make up mylittlepony.

Repertoire and releases

Making Marks performs songs from both of its earlier albums as well as new material. The debut album Think Too Much is released worldwide and wins Best International Album at Spain’s Premio Pop Eye in 2009.

Live activity

The group has played hundreds of shows across Norway, Sweden, Denmark, Germany, Belgium, France, Austria, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain, Portugal, the United States and Canada. Its live appearances include SXSW 2011.
