Magic Panda

Magic Panda is the lo-fi electronic project of Jamie Robson, a producer from Norfolk. The music combines melodic layers, glitchy drum programming and a steady four-on-the-floor pulse, and is described through themes of melancholic, ethereal soundscapes alongside more uplifting psychedelic material.

Career

The project begins in 2010. It receives local radio play and supports DMX Krew, Mount Kimbie and Luke Abbott. Robson releases the first Magic Panda EP, The Glass Mountain, on Maripoza Records, followed by Days are numbered on Tigerbeat6. The project is associated with electronic music, IDM, techno and lo-fi.
