Mack Wilds is the musical name used by Tristan Wilds, an American actor and singer from the United States. He is also known as Tristan Paul Mack Wilds.

Career in acting

Wilds is best known for playing Michael Lee in the HBO drama series The Wire and Dixon Wilson in the CW drama series 90210. He begins acting at the age of seven, following his older brother.

Background

He is born in Staten Island, New York, and attends Michael J. Petrides School. He is the son of Monique Moncion and Paul Wilds. His family background includes African American heritage through his father and Irish and Dominican heritage through his mother.

Music career

In 2010, Wilds signs a recording contract with the independent label Ten2one. Two tracks, “Fall 4 Her” and “Runaround”, leak; both are produced by Dre & Vidal, and “Fall 4 Her” is written by Rico Love. Another track, “2 Girls”, appears in the fourth season of 90210 and on Kim.

In October 2011, he releases the EP Remember Remember. He later returns to music and releases the single “Own It”, before issuing his debut album, New York: A Love Story.
