Lurk

Lurk is a Chicago-based dungeon synth artist and also the name of a Chicago hardcore punk band. The punk group is signed to Undertone Records and has released two EPs: Demo in 2017 and Promo Tape in 2018. Demo includes songs such as “Herd Man” and “Brainless”, while Promo Tape is a three-song release with two original tracks and a Ramones cover.

The Chicago hardcore punk version of Lurk releases material through Undertone Records and builds on a straightforward, aggressive approach. Its first EP, Demo, appears in 2017, followed by Promo Tape a year later. The latter adds a Ramones cover to two new songs.

Other uses of the name

The name also applies to a Finnish death/doom/sludge metal band that releases a full-length album in 2012, and to a psytrance DJ and party organiser based around Boom! Records, but the Chicago project is the one identified here.
