Lurch

Lurch is a UK DIY project associated with drum and bass, mathcore, indie, stoner rock and sludge. The name is used by more than one act, including a Dublin-based three-piece formed in January 2013 and described as playing dark, tense, melodic dirge rock, a London-based drum and bass producer focused on liquid and deep rollers, a mathcore band from Seattle, and a psychedelic/hard rock band from Vienna, Austria. The name is also used for Ted Cassidy’s character from The Addams Family, under which a single called “The Lurch Dance” is released.
