Lukas

Lukas is the name used by Luke Turner, a Bristol, UK DJ and producer working in deep house and related house styles. He is associated with Futureboogie and collaborates with fellow Bristol producer Christophe.

Related act of the same name

The name Lukas is also used by an Australian rock band from Sydney, formed in 2004 by Luke Munns after leaving the drum kit of Hillsong UNITED. That group releases music mixing bitpop, rock, indie, folk and alternative rock, and its releases include the debut EP Demo, the second EP You & Me, and the single Shine Your Glory. The band works with producer Brendan Anthony and guest guitarist Michael Guy Chislett, and has played alongside acts including MXPX, Switchfoot, Antiskeptic, Angela’s Dish, The Getaway Plan, Project 86, Guy Sebastian and Brooke Fraser. It also appears at events including Blackstump Festival, Big Exo Day, Parachute Festival and Hillsong conference.
