Loud

Loud is a hard rock band from Bradford, England, active from 1989 to the present. The group is associated with Chrissie McLaughlin.

Background

The name has also been used by several other acts, including a Canadian rapper from Montréal and an Israeli psytrance and electronica duo. The Bradford band is the British group identified here.

Releases and activity

Loud release two albums and several EPs and CD singles in the early 1990s. Their first album is co-produced by Jaz Coleman of Killing Joke. The band’s line-up includes Chris McLoughlin, who has previously been a live guitarist with New Model Army.
