Lost In Colour
Lost In Colour are an East Sussex alternative rock and pop punk group active from 2009 to 2013. They form in spring 2009 and first release the single Stay Awake Tonight through MySpace, where it passes 100,000 plays in a short time. The early response leads them to continue building their profile, including features in magazines such as FRONT and Ourzone.
Releases and recordings
Later in 2009, Lost In Colour release their second single, Searching for the Sun in the Dark. They also film a video for the B-side +354, which gives them further online exposure. The band then record their debut EP, Wastelands.
Live work and support slots
In support of Wastelands, the band play two UK tours, including a headline O2 Academy tour that sees several venues sell out. They also take support slots with Example, Glassjaw, Gallows, Mallory Knox, Of Mice and Men and The Elijah.
Line-up changes and later activity
Lost In Colour sign to MC9 Records. After losing members at the end of 2011, they go on hiatus before returning with new members and a different sound. Their first show back is a sold-out support slot with Morning Parade. They also plan a final Wastelands tour before returning to the studio to record an EP intended for release in 2013.
