Lorraine

Lorraine is a Norwegian synth-pop band from Bergen, active from 2002, with Ole Gunnar Gundersen and Anders Winsents as members. The group starts as a three-piece with Gundersen on vocals, Winsents on guitar, and Paal Myran Haaland on keyboards and programming.

Career

The band signs to RCA Records in 2007 after leaving Columbia Records. In late 2008, it changes its name to Black Room.

Style and influences

Lorraine’s sound sits within Norwegian and European electronic pop, and the band cites Depeche Mode, a-ha, Pet Shop Boys and New Order among its influences.
