Liondub

Liondub is a New York-based DJ and producer born in 1973, working in US jungle, drum and bass, reggae and dancehall. He is associated with Liondub International and performs with Chopstick Dubplate.

Style and work

He begins DJing in 1991, moving across roots reggae, dancehall, hip-hop and jungle. His sets and productions also draw on ragga jungle, dub, steppers, deep downtempo soul, lovers rock and current dancehall, with an emphasis on dubplates, jungle anthems, remixes and turntablism.

Performances and collaborations

Liondub tours in the US and opens for artists including Damian Marley and The Ghetto Youths Crew, The Wailers, DJ Krush, ?uestlove of The Roots, Johnny Osbourne, Terry Ganzie, JahDan, Rob Paine of Worship Recordings, DJ Gravy, DJ Ivy, Noble Society, Ras Kush, Smith and Mighty, the UK Steppers and Aquasky. He also appears alongside Steel Pulse, Sizzla Kalonji, Israel Vibration, Marcus Visionary, DJ Dara and Max Glazer.
