Linkwood is the production alias of Nick Moore, a DJ, producer and engineer from Edinburgh. He works in house and related styles, with tags including deep house, disco, Detroit house and chillout.

Career

Moore is best known for releases on Firecracker Records, including Miles Away and Piece of Mind. His first album, System, is released on Prime Numbers and helps establish his profile beyond club singles and EPs.

Background

He grows up in Bristol in the late 1980s and early 1990s, where he becomes interested in house and techno as a teenager. That interest leads him to make his own music and to study production and recording techniques.
