Lightspeed Champion
Lightspeed Champion is the recording name of Devonté Hynes, a singer and songwriter from Houston, New York, born in 1985. He lives in New York City and spends much of his early life in Essex. His work is associated with rock and indie, and he also records under the name Blood Orange.
Before using the Lightspeed Champion name, Hynes is a member of the short-lived London dance-punk trio Test Icicles.
