Lifeloose

Lifeloose are a North London electronic duo made up of Aldi Ho and Josie Silverman. The pair meet while studying at Guildhall School of Music & Drama, where Ho studies opera and Silverman studies electronic music. They do not initially get along, but later become friends after bonding over dumpster diving, and begin making music together.

Their music draws on experimental electro and electroclash, and combines abrasive electronic production with playful vocals and irreverent humour. Their work is associated with electronic pop and club music, and has drawn comparisons with Peaches, Mermaid Chunky and Group X Cetera.

Lifeloose emerge with their self-titled debut single, Lifeloose. They later release 07XXXXXXXXX, a track built around a punchy bass beat and a Motorola ringtone used as a recurring hook. The song uses their offbeat style to address modern dating and communication.
