Leo Sayer

Leo Sayer is a singer-songwriter and entertainer from Shoreham-by-Sea in the United Kingdom. Born Gerard Hugh Sayer in 1948, he begins his career in the UK in the early 1970s and becomes a major singles and albums act in both the UK and the US during the 1970s. He is later an Australian citizen and resident.

His early commercial run is notable: his first seven hit singles in the United Kingdom all reach the Top 10, a record first achieved by his first manager, Adam Faith. Sayer’s work spans pop, disco, rock and soft rock, and his singing career covers four decades.
