Lens is a United States-based music producer and international FM and internet radio DJ, Ken Spector. He begins writing music on piano at the age of six and works in progressive trance, trance, electronic and chillout.

Releases and remixes

His first dance music single, “Let the Light In”, is released on Armada and Coldharbour and later appears on Markus Schulz’s Miami ’05 compilation. It receives strong international radio and DJ support. His second single, “Dusk Till Dawn”, is also released on Coldharbour and includes remixes by Stalker and Alex Stealthy. The track later appears on Schultz’s Ibiza ’06 compilation.

His third Lens release, “Beyond The Shadows”, appears on several compilations, including Universal Music’s Trance Anthems 2008. The track is played by DJs including Armin van Buuren, Ferry Corsten, Tiësto and Markus Schulz.

Vocal work and radio

Spector also sings. His first credited vocal release is “Follow Me” by Italian production team Gilbert pres. dYor featuring Ken Spector, released on High Contrast Nu Breed. He is also known for Spector Selector Chart, a weekly show carried on FM and internet radio stations around the world. The programme focuses on progressive dance music from around the world.
