Left to Suffer

Left to Suffer is an Atlanta deathcore band formed in 2019 and active since then. The group is signed to BVTV Music and features Taylor Barber on vocals, Peter Higgs and Jacob Gordon on guitars, Christian Nowatzki on bass, and Levi Dunn on drums.

Style and influences

The band plays deathcore with elements drawn from hardcore punk, metal, metalcore and nu metal. It describes its approach as “Nu Deathcore” and cites contemporaries such as Lorna Shore, Traitors and Bodysnatcher as influences.

Releases

Left to Suffer releases its debut single, “Burden,” in spring 2019 with guest vocals from former Lorna Shore frontman CJ McCreery. It follows this with “Just for Now.” The band’s debut album, A Year of Suffering, arrives in 2020 and includes guest vocals from members of Signs of the Swarm, Brojob and CJ McCreery. A live version of the album, Live from Hell, also appears in 2020. Its album Feral is released in 2023.
