Knocked Loose

Knocked Loose is a hardcore band from Oldham County, United States, active since 2013. The group works across beatdown hardcore, hardcore punk and metalcore, and is associated with the Oldham County, Kentucky scene named in the band’s own history.

Line-up

The band’s members include Dylan Isaacs, Bryan Garris, Isaac Hale, Kevin Otten, Nate Woods, Cole Crutchfield, Kevin Kaine and Nicko Calderon. In one stable line-up, Bryan Garris handles lead vocals, Nicko Calderon plays rhythm guitar, Isaac Hale plays lead guitar and provides backing vocals, Kevin Otten plays bass, and Kevin Kaine plays drums. Cole Crutchfield is a former rhythm guitarist and backing vocalist.

Releases

Knocked Loose signs to Pure Noise Records and releases its first studio album, Laugh Tracks, through the label in 2016. The band follows it with A Different Shade of Blue in 2019, also on Pure Noise Records.

A Tear in the Fabric of Life

The band records the six-song EP A Tear in the Fabric of Life while working from Kentucky and Tennessee during a period when touring is disrupted. The release expands on the narrative ideas of A Different Shade of Blue and adds a more varied sound while keeping the group’s direct, anthemic style.
