KLOQ is the electronic music project of Austin Morsley, also known as Oz Morsley. Before KLOQ, he is part of Empirion, where he releases singles including Narcotic Influence and works as a remixer for acts such as The Prodigy, Front 242 and Moby.
History
The first KLOQ tracks appear in 2001 on Atomic Records, marking a move from the Empirion sound towards the project’s later style. After working on material for other artists, Morsley develops KLOQ further by bringing vocals into the production.
Releases
KLOQ releases its debut single, We’re just Physical, on Out of Line in 2007. The single includes vocal contributions from Douglas McCarthy of Nitzer Ebb. The project’s first album, Move Forward, follows in 2008.
