Kitten

Kitten is an indie rock band from Los Angeles, United States, active since 2009. The group is based in Los Angeles and has been associated with indie rock, indie pop, and rock.

Releases

Kitten releases its debut EP, Sunday School, in 2011, followed by the EP Cut It Out in 2012. The band later issues a third EP, Like A Stranger.

Line-up

By 2019, the band includes founding vocalist Chloe Chaidez, guitarist Dave Stagno, guitarist Parker Silzer IV, keyboardist Max Tsiring, bassist Blu DeTiger, and drummer Rex DeTiger. Other members linked with the group include Lukas Frank, Waylon Rector, Zach Bilson, and Bryan DeLeon, who leaves after the band’s tour with Charli XCX in November 2013. The verified line-up also includes Chad Hearn.

Live activity and reception

Kitten supports acts including No Doubt, Electric Six, Young The Giant, Paramore, and Charli XCX. Chaidez receives praise from Spin.com, which describes her as a performer with “raw power and believability.”
