Kiosk

Kiosk is an Iranian rock group from Tehran, active since 2003 and led by Arash Sobhani. It begins as an underground band in Iran and is prevented from performing in public or recording in studios in Tehran by Islamic cultural authorities. Sobhani moves to the United States in 2005, and from there the group releases Ordinary Man, described as the first Iranian underground album. The album is made available through iTunes and other major Western digital music channels, which is presented as a first for Iranian underground music.

The band has released nine albums in total, including two live albums. Its work is associated with rock, and it is also tagged with blues, Persian and Iranian Underground Music.
