Kerridge is the project of Samuel Kerridge, a post-industrial and techno producer based in the United Kingdom and Berlin. His work centres on slow-moving industrial techno, combining dense drone textures with heavy, mechanical rhythms.

Releases and label work

Kerridge debuts with the album A Fallen Empire on Downwards in 2013, followed by the Deficit of Wonder EP on Blueprint in 2014. In 2015, he issues his second album, Always Offended Never Ashamed, as the first release on his Contort label. He later releases Fatal Light Attraction on Downwards.

Performance and associated projects

Before Contort, Kerridge develops the label through his Berlin party series. An audio-visual show accompanying Fatal Light Attraction appears at Berlin Atonal, extending his live presentation into a more formal performance setting.

Style

His music is described through its fusion of drone and industrial techno, with a sound that emphasises sustained pressure, distortion and the pulse of machinery.
