Kenny Ken
Kenny Ken, real name Ken Delsol, is a UK jungle DJ and producer. He starts DJing in 1989, inspired by the early warehouse party scene. During the day he works as a ticket collector on the London Underground.
Early career
He is discovered by the Labrynth Rave organisation and begins playing at their parties, as well as on pirate radio stations including Centreforce FM and later Dance FM. A first major break comes through his regular attendance at the early Sunday morning rave Crazy Larry's. The organisers also promote the Crazy Club at Busby's, and after persuasion he becomes resident DJ there.
He later becomes resident at Sunday Roast and A.W.O.L, and during this period he starts producing his own tracks.
Radio, labels and family
His labels include Mix 'n' Blen and Planet Funk Recordings, which he co-owns with DJ Mace. He also DJs for BBC Radio 1 on One In The Jungle and presents his own show on Kiss FM.
His step-son is drum and bass DJ and producer Crissy Criss.
