Kaysha is a French-based musician and producer who is originally from Kinshasa in the Democratic Republic of Congo. Born in 1974, he moves to France as a child when his family emigrates there at the age of seven.

His work draws on a wide range of African and Caribbean styles, including kizomba, kuduro, hip hop, afro house, zouk, zouk love, rhumba, zouglou, calypso and R&B. He is also active as a music producer and works across the Afro-Caribbean scene.

As a producer, Kaysha has worked with artists including Passi, Solaar, Jacob Desvarieux, Soumia, Lynnsha, Elizio and Ludo. He releases music on Black Buddha Music and Sushiraw.
