Kaputt

Kaputt is a post-punk band from Glasgow. The name is used by more than one group, but the Glasgow act is a five-piece outfit built around Cal Donnelly, who also plays in Breakfast Muff, Spinning Coin and Rapid Tan, and Simone Wilson, who is also associated with Hairband. The line-up also includes songwriter Chrissy Barnacle, who is also linked with Joyce Delaney, Rikki Will, who also plays with The Yawns and Lush Purr, and Tobias Carmichael, who is also in The Bellybuttons.

The band is described as drawing on indie pop, indie rock and avant-garde elements, alongside its post-punk base. It is a group rather than a solo project.
