Justin Timberlake is an American singer, songwriter, actor, record producer and dancer from Memphis, Tennessee. Born in 1981, he begins his career as a child on television, appearing on Star Search and on Disney Channel’s The All New Mickey Mouse Club in the early to mid-1990s.

He meets JC Chasez on The All New Mickey Mouse Club and later becomes the lead singer of NSYNC, the pop boy band that releases four studio albums and sells more than 70 million records worldwide. Timberlake then develops a solo career, with a style that spans pop, contemporary R&B, dance-pop, disco, electropop, boogie and neo soul. His labels include Tennman Records and Tennman Tunes.

His solo albums include Justified and FutureSex/LoveSounds, both of which sell more than 10 million copies and receive triple platinum certification from the RIAA. FutureSex/LoveSounds becomes his first US Billboard 200 number one, and he later reaches the top of the chart with The 20/20 Experience, The 20/20 Experience – 2 of 2 and Man of the Woods. The 20/20 Experience is the best-selling album of its release year. He also has major hit singles including “Cry Me a River”, “Rock Your Body”, “SexyBack”, “My Love”, “LoveStoned/I Think She Knows”, “What Goes Around... Comes Around”, “Give It to Me”, “4 Minutes”, “Pusher Love Girl”, “Suit & Tie”, “Mirrors” and “Can’t Stop the Feeling!”, which earns him an Academy Award nomination.

Alongside recording, Timberlake acts in films including The Love Guru, The Social Network, Bad Teacher, Friends with Benefits, In Time, Wonder Wheel and Palmer. He also voices Artie in Shrek the Third, Boo-Boo Bear in Yogi Bear and Branch in the Trolls franchise.

He receives ten Grammy Awards, four Primetime Emmy Awards, three Brit Awards, nine Billboard Music Awards, the Contemporary Icon Award from the Songwriters Hall of Fame and MTV’s Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award. He has also worked often with The Neptunes and Timbaland, who help shape his solo work.
