Juliette Lewis
Juliette Lewis is an actor and musician from Los Angeles, United States. Born in 1973, she starts acting at a young age and first works in television at the age of twelve. She is the daughter of actor Geoffrey Lewis and graphic designer Glenis Duggan.
Acting career
Lewis appears in more than forty films and made-for-television films. She receives an Academy Award nomination for Best Supporting Actress for Cape Fear and an Emmy nomination for her performance in My Louisiana Sky. She also appears in a GAP commercial with Daft Punk, using the song “Digital Love”.
Music
As a musician, Lewis leads Juliette and the Licks and releases recordings with the group. Her work is in rock and alternative rock, and she also works with rock songwriter Linda Perry. Her album Terra Incognita is produced by Omar Rodriguez Lopez of The Mars Volta. She also appears on three tracks on The Prodigy’s 2004 album Always Outnumbered, Never Outgunned: “Spitfire”, “Get Up Get Off” and “Hot Ride”.
Other appearances and personal life
Lewis appears in the music video for H.I.M.’s “Buried Alive By Love”. She is a member of the Church of Scientology. She dates Brad Pitt for several years and appears with him in Kalifornia and Too Young to Die?. She later marries professional skateboarder Steve Berra in 1999 and is divorced.
