Joshua Radin

Joshua Radin is an American folk rock singer-songwriter from Shaker Heights, in the United States. He records in an acoustic style and is associated with folk and indie music.

Career

Radin first reaches a wider audience after his song Winter is played on the television series Scrubs, after actor and filmmaker Zach Braff hears a demo and places it in the episode My Screw Up. The response to the track brings him significant exposure. Other songs by Radin also appear on Scrubs, including Today, Closer, Don't Look Away and These Photographs.

His music also appears on the television dramas North Shore, Bones and Grey's Anatomy. Tracks including Star Mile appear on the soundtrack to The Last Kiss, while What If You features on the Catch and Release soundtrack. He also contributes songs to the Adam soundtrack, including When I Find You.

Albums and collaboration

Radin releases the album We Were Here in 2006. The record includes many of the songs that have already appeared on television. It is described as heavily acoustic indie folk-pop. He also appears on Mark IV by Ashtar Command, from the band's debut album American Sunshine.
