Jordan Rakei

Jordan Rakei is a New Zealand-born singer, songwriter, producer and keyboard player based in London. He starts his career in 2012, playing keyboards with a range of acts in Brisbane and New Zealand before moving into solo releases.

Early releases

In 2013, he self-releases his debut six-track EP, Franklin's Room. The following year he issues Groove Course through Soul Has No Tempo. His work sits in alternative R&B, R&B, reggae and soul, with strong connections to jazz, neo-soul and R&B scenes.

Collaborations and features

Rakei appears as a featured artist on FKJ's Learn to Fly. In 2015, he also features on Ta-Ku's Sunrise / Beautiful, Tom Misch's Wake Up This Day and Disclosure's Masterpiece.

Debut album

The Light and Talk to Me are released ahead of Cloak, his full-length debut album. He has also worked with Kwalia.
