Jon Fratelli is the stage name of John Paul Lawler, a singer, guitarist and songwriter from Glasgow, Scotland. He is best known as the lead vocalist, guitarist and songwriter of The Fratellis.

Solo work

Fratelli releases solo material under his own name after leaving Codeine Velvet Club, the band he forms with singer-songwriter Lou Hickey. His debut solo album, Psycho Jukebox, appears in 2011, following the free EP The Magic Hour, which he puts on his website earlier that year. The album produces the singles “Santo Domingo” and “Baby, We’re Refugees!”.

Alongside The Fratellis and Codeine Velvet Club, Fratelli works within alternative rock, indie rock and rock. He continues to be associated with The Fratellis as well as his solo output.
