Johnny Flynn

Johnny Flynn is a British singer-songwriter and actor, born in Johannesburg in 1983. He works in acoustic, folk-rock, rock and indie music, and also performs and records with Johnny Flynn & The Sussex Wit.

Recording career

Flynn releases his debut album, A Larum, in 2008. He follows it with the Sweet William EP in 2009 and his second album, Been Listening, in 2010. That album includes the singles “Kentucky Pill”, “Barnacled Warship” and “The Water”, the last of which features a duet with Laura Marling.
