John Mann is a Canadian rock musician, songwriter and actor from Calgary, Canada. He is best known as the frontman of the folk rock band Spirit of the West, and he is also associated with the Wurlitzer and ruk tags.

Born in 1962 and dying in 2019, he performs and records as a solo artist as well as with Spirit of the West. His solo discography begins with Acoustic Kitty, followed by December Looms and The Waiting Room. He is also known under the full name John Fraser Mann.
