Joe is an American contemporary R&B singer from Columbus, Georgia, who is later based in Atlanta, Georgia. Born in 1973, he is associated with contemporary R&B and R&B, and is also linked with Black Men United.
Career
Joe signs a record deal with Polygram Records in 1992 and gains prominence with his debut album, Everything, released the following year. He then records a run of successful albums for Jive Records, including All That I Am (1997), My Name Is Joe (2000), Better Days (2001) and And Then... (2003).
Key songs and collaborations
His best-known singles include the number-one R&B hit “Stutter” and the top ten singles “All the Things (Your Man Won’t Do)”, “Don’t Wanna Be a Player” and “I Wanna Know”. He also appears on the collaborations “Faded Pictures”, “Thank God I Found You” and “Still Not a Player”.
