Joe Little

Joe Little is a United States-based artist associated in this account with electronic music, instrumental keyboard music and ambient recordings. He begins exploring electronic music in the early 1980s and learns recording techniques using basic synthesizers while spending time at Radio Airthrey.

Home studio work and solo albums

In 1994, Joe builds a MIDI studio in his front room in St Albans and uses it to record a run of instrumental keyboard-based ambient albums. These include Digital Delay, Deep, Destiny and In the Wake of Apollo.... He also releases a solo album titled Difficult Listening Hour.

Label and collaborative work

Joe becomes involved with the BMN label, which later becomes High Barn. Through that connection, he records with the Aklowa, Hannah and Nona acts. He is also associated with a sixth album, Moving on then....
