Born in Glasgow in 1964, Joe first became obsessively interested in electronic music in the early 80s and learned recording techniques with basic synths during downtime at Radio Airthrey. In 1994 he built his own midi studio in his St. Albans front room and went on to record 4 albums of instrumental keyboard based ambient music "Digital Delay", "Deep", "Destiny" and "In The Wake of Apollo...". Joe then became involved witht he BMN label (now High Barn") and recorded with the Aklowa, Hannah and Nona acts as well as releasing his own album "Difficult Listening Hour". Joe recently completed a 6th album called "Moving on then..."
