Jimi Goodwin

Jimi Goodwin is a singer, songwriter and bassist from Manchester, England. He is best known as the lead singer and bassist of Doves, and he is also a member of the earlier electronic and dance act Sub Sub alongside the Williams brothers, Andy and Jez.

Born Jamie Francis Alexander Goodwin in 1970, he works within rock, indie rock, indie and alternative music. Alongside his work with Doves, he also performs in NightjaR.

During a break in Doves activity, he records as a solo artist. His solo album Odludek is issued by Heavenly Recordings. Guy Garvey of Elbow contributes to his music and describes it as brilliant.
