Janiece Myers is a UK singer-songwriter who launches a solo career in October 2009 after previous musical experience and training. She works in urban pop, with material that also draws on R&B and soul.

Career and early solo work

Myers performs at events across the UK and works with UK artists and producers including Davinche, Virgo and KOF. She builds attention online by posting weekly a cappella performances, which attract more than 25,000 views in a three-month period. Her first solo project is the EP In My Element, which she describes as combining different musical tastes and styles into one release.

Recording and collaborators

In My Element is made under the guidance of Kofi Owusu and includes production from Virgo, The Elementz, Chartstalker and Kev Willow. The project is presented as a mix of R&B, pop and soul.
