Isobel Anderson is a British singer-songwriter and sound artist from East Sussex in England, now based in Belfast.

Music

Her songs combine soulful vocals with guitar-led arrangements, ranging from delicate accompaniment on some tracks to more rhythmic and energetic playing on others. She works across folk, acoustic, country, jazz and blues influences.

Releases

Anderson releases a self-titled EP in 2008 and her first album, Cold Water Songs, in 2010.

Sound art

Alongside her songwriting, she develops sound installations that use voice, processing and visual elements to create immersive experiences. These works often explore place, memory and identity.
