Islet

Islet are a Cardiff, Wales-based experimental rock band active since 2009. They are also described as a Cardiff no-wave band.

The group’s debut album, Illuminated People, appears on Shape Records and follows two mini-albums released in 2010, Celebrate This Place and Wimmy. Their music is associated with experimental rock and alternative approaches, with harmonies also listed among their tags.

A separate artist entry describes Islet as a doujin music circle made up of Tazuneru and Raku, with Tazuneru handling songwriting and Raku handling arrangement and engineering. That entry also says that, in 2023, Islet and vocalist isui form the group tayori.
