Ink Project

Ink Project is a Brighton-based electronic and soul collective active since 2009. The group consists of Jez Lloyd and Melanie Dymond, with Lloyd handling keys and production and Dymond on vocals and production.

Releases

The duo issues its debut single, Call On Me, on eight:FX Records, followed by Rewind Forward Replay and Black Honey as a lead-in to its first full-length album, Inside The Sun. The group also releases Rapture, a cover of the Blondie song.

Live activity and support

Ink Project plays live at events including Sonar Festival in Barcelona, Jazz Refound Festival in Italy, Cargo, and Notting Hill Arts Club in London. Its music receives radio support from Gilles Peterson, Nemone, Don Letts and MistaJam on BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music, as well as support from Emma Warren and The Selector Show on NME Radio.
