ILL CONSIDERED

ILL CONSIDERED is a London, United Kingdom jazz group centred on saxophonist Idris Rahman, bassist Liran Donin and drummer Emre Ramazanoglu. The group forms in 2017 as a fully improvised project built around drums, bass, saxophone and percussion.

From 2018 onwards, it releases a large number of albums, with most of them recorded at its improvised live performances. The first recording comes from an initial jam session that is mixed and mastered within 24 hours and becomes the group's first album.

The live performances are noted for their energy and intensity, and the group develops a cult following. Its regular line-up also includes percussionist Satin Singh, and earlier recordings feature guitarist Steve Ashmore, percussionist Yahael Camara-Onono and saxophonist Tamar Osborn.
