I Divide

I Divide are a post-hardcore and alternative rock group from Exeter, United Kingdom. The band forms in 2011 and is active through the present.

Career

The quintet win Red Bull Bedroom Jam in 2012 and also receive the South West Music Awards award for Best Rock Act the same year. Their early profile builds around a fast, raw live performance style and a melodic approach that places them within alternative rock, emo and post-hardcore circles.

In 2013, I Divide tour the UK with Funeral For A Friend. In the same year, their EP appears on the front cover of Rocksound Magazine, they are featured in Kerrang! as an Introducing artist, they play the second stage at Download Festival, and they appear as a featured artist on BBC Introducing at Reading and Leeds Festival. They also prepare for the release of their debut album.

The group’s work is presented as energetic and hook-led, with singalong choruses and a strong live reputation. Their output also includes new music videos and live tracks.
