I Ching

I Ching is a double album recorded in Studio Trójka between December 1982 and October 1983. It brings together musicians associated with several Polish rock groups and includes material linked to progressive rock, jazz and poetry.

Recording and personnel

The album is recorded by members of Perfect, TSA, Osjan, Porter Band, Krzak, Breakout and Maanam, along with other contributing artists. The Perfect members involved are Zbigniew Hołdys, Andrzej Nowicki, Piotr Szkudelski and Andrzej Urny. TSA is represented by Andrzej Nowak and Janusz Niekrasz. The other credited musicians are Wojciech Waglewski of Osjan, Wojciech Morawski of Porter Band, Jerzy Kawalec of Krzak, Tadeusz Trzciński of Breakout, Paweł Markowski of Maanam, as well as Martyna Jakubowicz, Joanna Posmyk, Mirosław Rzepa and Andrzej Kleszczewski.

Title

The title comes from the Chinese name for the Book of Changes (Księga przemian).
