Hundred Days

Hundred Days is a rock group from Norwood, Canada, active since 1997. The band’s line-up is Adam Gontier, Neil Sanderson, Brad Walst, Barry Stock and Matt Walst.

History

The band begins in 1997 and later performs under the name X-teller, with four friends playing gigs across the south of England for five years. During that period they release two albums and two EPs and develop their songwriting. After a break in 2007, three members regroup and, a year later, return to the live circuit with a new name, Hundred Days, and a new direction.

Releases and style

Hundred Days releases the full-length album How a War is Won and later records the follow-up Rise. The band also plans a run of three digital singles produced by The Animal Farm in London. Their music is described as hard rock, and they continue to write, record and tour.

Name

The name Hundred Days refers to the period between Napoleon Bonaparte’s escape from imprisonment and the Battle of Waterloo.
