Humanity's Last Breath

Humanity's Last Breath is a progressive deathcore band from Helsingborg, Sweden. It forms in 2009, when drummer Buster Odeholm and former guitarist Kristoffer Nilsson begin writing heavy material.

Early releases and label work

The band records its early material for Rogue Records America, including the EP Reanimated By Hate and the albums Structures Collapse and Humanity's Last Breath. Later, Buster Odeholm moves away from the label approach and sets up Impact Studios, where he records the 2016 album Detestor.

Line-up changes and later albums

By 2014, the project consists solely of Buster Odeholm, who is also the drummer for Vildhjarta. In 2016 the line-up changes again: Odeholm switches from drums to guitar, and vocalist Filip Danielsson, guitarist Calle Thomer and drummer Marcus Rosell join the band. That formation releases Detestor in 2016 and Abyssal in 2019.

The band then releases Välde in 2021 and Ashen in 2023. During a 2023 tour, Klas Blomgren plays drums and Tuomas Kurikka plays guitar. In 2024, during a USA tour, the band announces a signing to Century Media Records.

Members and former members

Past members include vocalist Marcus Hultqvist, guitarist Kristoffer Nilsson, bassist Stefan Bengtsson and Marcus Johansson, who leaves because of a lack of means for dedication.
