Hostile Rising
Hostile Rising forms in autumn 2008 as a five-piece band from England. Its music combines tight, machine-gun-style riffs and southern-influenced grooves with a dark melodic edge. The group is described as using powerful, creative drums, heavy and melodic guitars, groove-led bass, and vocals that mix harsh, guttural delivery with manic screams.
The band performs with acts across Yorkshire and the Midlands, and it also headlines many shows around Leeds and Wakefield. In 2010, it appears at Wakefield Rock Festival alongside Sensor, Pitchshifter and InMe.
