Hipbone Slim And The Knee Tremblers is a rock and roll group led by Sir Bald Diddley, who also records as Hipbone Slim. The band plays rockabilly, rock ’n’ roll and blues, and its line-up brings together musicians with long histories in British garage, surf, trash, punk and beat music.

Line-up

The band is led by Sir Bald Diddley, also known as Hipbone Slim. He is described as a major figure in surf and rock ’n’ roll instrumentals and also fronts the garage-freak-beat group The Snags. He runs Alopecia Records.

On bass is John “Lard” Gibbs, who was the original bass player in the Kaisers and also plays with the Wildebeests.

On drums is Bruce “Bash” Brand, a veteran of many beat and rock groups. His past work includes the Milkshakes, Headcoats and Mighty Caesars, and he also plays with Link Wray.
